Kiosko Shows Complete Suite Of Fixture Services At CES

Kiosko, a retail services and fixture company, unveiled its total retail expansion service at International CES this month.

Under its “retail expansion management” service, Kiosko offers retail-site selection and preparation, fixture design, engineering and manufacturing, custom graphics production, and comprehensive rollout management and maintenance programs, the company said.

Kiosko’s consumer electronics division serves such customers as RadioShack, Verizon, Sprint, The Mobile Solution, Vonage, Nokia and small local and regional providers. The company has established partnership with major mall-management companies and national delivery and installation companies.

Based in North Springfield, Vt., Kiosko offers turnkey services including design work, advanced engineering, volume manufacturing, rollout, installation, logistics oversight, on-site permitting, graphic development and ongoing maintenance. It builds fixtures, kiosks and sales displays in two manufacturing facilities encompassing 80,000 square feet. The facilities offer custom metalwork, millwork and graphics production.

At CES, Kiosko management also discusses buyer behavior, traffic flow and effective merchandising techniques with retailers. “A consumer’s decision to buy is based on a number of influencers, including personal, psychological and social factors,” said Kiosko president David Willis. “It is our job to consider these aspects during the fixture design process.”

Kiosko’s approach “begins with an assessment of brand, product, market space and demographics, with a goal of creating retail environments that fulfill a need for the buyer,” the company added. “This consumer-based approach offers a breadth of options to customers, from innovative mall-based retailing to modern in-line solutions.”

Added Kiosko founder and CEO Courtlandt Pennell, “Designing and building outstanding fixtures is only one step in the process.”
