MILWAUKEE — Koss took the wraps off its first portable Bluetooth speaker, the pocket-sized BTS1.
Featuring a built-in kickstand that enables omnidirectional sound, the BTS1 weighs just 0.36 pound and can be daisy-chained with up to three additional speakers via the 3.5mm aux input and output jacks. It has a 40mm dynamic transducer and boasts onboard controls.
When asked what led the company to decide to enter the portable Bluetooth speaker market, marketing director Michael J. Koss Jr. told TWICE: “We entered the space for one simple reason: We wanted to give our loyal listeners the opportunity to share the Sound of Koss.”
The BTS1 is currently shipping with a $59.99 suggested retail.
