Sennheiser Prepping Oculus Showroom & Holiday Pop-Up Store

Sennheiser is readying two new retail experiences in New York for the fall.

The first — known as the Soundscape and housed inside the Westfield World Trade Center in the Oculus — will be Sennheier’s new flagship showroom. It will open in the beginning of October and will showcase a selection of Sennheiser’s high-end products, such as the HD 630VB, HD 800, HD 800S and IE 800 headphones, as well as its Momentum (HD1) and new PXC550. It will also feature themed listening zones and will host events.

“Westfield World Trade Center has been created to be a unique stage for unique experiences. This is precisely our aim with the Soundscape,” said Daniel Sennheiser, Sennheiser co-CEO, in a statement. “We are excited to invite people to share our vision to shape the future of audio, and want to offer a look beyond technology by creating a stage for sound itself – and the pure excitement of hearing audio in new ways.”

The second, a pop-up store on Prince Street in SoHo, will feature both consumer and pro audio products, a company spokesman told TWICE. It will also open in October.

This is not the first time the headphones manufacturer has erected a pop-up for the holiday selling season.

Both locations will be open for five months.
