Harrison, N.Y. -- Remote control supplier URC has launched its
new revamped consumer website.
Foremost among the new
site's features is The URC Experience, an interactive application that
shows URC Total Control products being used in all areas of a house.
The site also features sections for the various channels URC
serves, including residential installers and retail consumers as well as
corporate, education, hospitality, transportation, subscription broadcast and
URC has expanded the support section, with FAQs and downloads,
and added a refreshed dealer-locator section for those seeking local URC custom
installers, retail locations and commercial integrators.
URC's dealer-only Control
Room website remains unchanged, but, URC said, dealers can use the new public
website as a compelling sales and demonstration tool.
"This upgrade to our public website, like our CEDIA Expo 2010
introduction of Total Control, is a huge step forward for URC in communicating
to the world that we're a comprehensive residential and commercial control
solutions provider," said Jon Sienkiewicz, URC marketing director. "Previously,
our public site was heavy on products and specs. With our new site, you can get
more information than ever before about our products, but the primary focus is
on the Total Control experience. Consumers and commercial clients can now get a
much better idea of what URC Total Control solutions can do for them, and
dealers can leverage the site to help clients and prospects better understand
the benefits and power of URC Total Control."
URC's new site was produced by The Buzz Farm, which also created
URC's previous public website, The URC Control Room and The URC Tool Box.
