Fremont, Calif. - Optoma
introduced Monday its GT750 portable 720p DLP HD video projector, which is the
company's fourth video projector to date targeted specifically at video gaming
enthusiasts.

The company said the new projector, which is compatible with most
gaming formats and standards -- including Blu-ray 3D -- will be formally
unveiled at Electronic Entertainment Industry (E3) Expo in Los Angeles (South
Hall, booth 3054), June 7-9.

It is expected to ship to dealers in August at a $799 suggested
retail.

"This is a milestone product for Optoma and a direct response to
3D gaming enthusiasts who want to take advantage of the newest technologies,"
stated Jon Grodem, Optoma's product and marketing senior director.  "And as more 3D content becomes available,
both for games and general entertainment, the GT750 becomes a natural choice."

The GT750, which is added to Optoma's GameTime series, includes
features designed to heighten the immersive gaming experience.

Brightness is listed at 2,500 lumens and the short-throw lens extends
the big-picture versatility to small rooms.

It is equipped with a 10-watt stereo speaker system.

Native resolution is listed at a widescreen HD-level 1,280 by 720
pixels (720p) and will accommodate video games produced in widescreen aspect
ratios, including those running 3D content on Blu-ray Discs.

Inputs include an HDMI 1.4a port with supported 3D signals, as
well as connections for PCs and Macs.

The GT750 comes packaged with a custom backpack to accommodate
the on-the-go transportability.
