Lexington, Ky. — Lexmark introduced its first photo printer to feature a built-in CD burner.
The P450 is a dedicated 4-inch by 6-inch inkjet printer that can burn digital images from memory cards and USB flash drives without a computer. The unit can also print directly from PictBridge-enabled digital cameras and, with an optional adapter, Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Images can be viewed and edited on the printer’s 2.4-inch LCD. Editing features include red-eye removal, cropping, rotating color fixing. Photo effects, such as sepia tones, can be added to images through the printer as well.
The P450 will ship in October for an estimated $199.
