Rochester, N.Y. — Kodak continued to broaden its push into digital markets today with the announcement that it will team with flash memory card manufacturer Lexar Media to distribute a line of Kodak-branded flash memory cards into the U.S. and worldwide markets in the fourth quarter.
Under the agreement, Lexar Media will manufacture the cards and leverage both Kodak’s distribution network and its own to sell the cards. Both companies will shoulder product marketing responsibilities.
The initial product line-up available in the fourth quarter will include Secure Digital (SD), MiniSD, Multimedia Cards (MMC), and CompactFlash cards.
