Lake Success, N.Y. – Canon introduced three all-in-one
office inkjet printers this week under its Pixma line.
The MX512 Wireless, the MX432 Wireless and the MX372 all feature
print, copy, scan and fax capabilities. The models are expected to hit stores
by April 1.
The MX512 and MX432 have a maximum color resolution of 4,800
by 1,200 dpi. The former model features a 2.5-inch LCD panel and print speeds
of 9 pages per minute (ppm) for text documents and 5 ppm for color. The MX432
drops the LCD panel, but has the same print speeds
The MX512 has a $149 suggested retail price, while the MX432
comes in at $99. Canon said the MX512 represents the first time an LCD has been
included in a product priced at $149.
The MX372 has a slightly slower print speed of 8ppm for text
and 5ppm for color. It will sell for $79.
The wireless models will with Canon’s free Easy-PhotoPrint
mobile app, the company said. All three
models can print a 4-inch by 6-inch photo in about 46 seconds, the company
said.
