Newark, Calif. — Logitech took the wraps off its first iPhone gaming controller, the PowerShell Controller + Battery.
The device attaches to an iPhone 5, 5s or a fifth-generation iPod Touch running iOS 7 for console-style gaming with a D-pad, shoulder triggers and face buttons. It also has a 1,500 mAh battery that will charge the Apple device during game play, and comes with a headphone extender to prevent the cable from interfering with game play.
The controller became available today at Apple’s online store and BestBuy.com for $99.99. It will be sold through other retailers next month.
