Klipsch Gets Boost At Rock Hall Of Fame

Cleveland, Ohio – Klipsch, the first-ever presenting sponsor of the recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, got an awareness boost last weekend among rockers and city residents.

Klipsch’s name was promoted all over Cleveland on induction ceremony signs, and the company hosted the VIP party for inductees and presenters. The company also gifted all artists with Klipsch Reference Premiere R-160M monitor speakers and X11i headphones. Stars turning up at the gifting lounge included Joe Walsh.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Presented by Klipsch Audio marked the 30th anniversary of the induction ceremony, which will be aired on HBO in May.

As part of a three-year partnership, Klipsch outfitted the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum with pro speakers, home theater speakers, sound bars and headphones. Klipsch speakers also appear in the Klipsch Audio Stage at the hall.

Matt Sommers, Klipsch marketing VP, called the partnership a natural.  “Klipsch was founded the better part of a century ago to bring the live music experience into people’s living rooms,” he said. “Our founder, Paul W. Klipsch, made it his life’s goal to create speakers that rock. His ‘no-nonsense’ attitude, with the science to back it up, changed the way we listen to music today.” Many classic albums have been mixed, mastered and played back on Klipsch speakers, he noted.
