HP Ships New PC Monitors

PALO ALTO, CALIF. — Hewlett-
Packard has rolled out five new LED
backlit monitors.

The new models hit stores on
Dec. 12 for the 2011x, 2211x and
2311x and Dec. 19 for the 2511x and
2711x. The entire line has screen
sizes between 20 inches and 27
inches. Corresponding prices range
from $159 and $399.

The $159 2011x is the 20-inch
model with 1,600 by 900 screen
resolution and an anti-glare panel.
It offers 3 million to 1 contrast ratio
with 250 nits of brightness and
a 5ms screen response time. It has
VGA and DVI-D inputs.

The step-up 22-inch 2211x has
the same specifications with a $199
price tag.

The 23-inch 2311x, 25-inch 2511x
and 27-inch 2711x each add an
HDMI input, but otherwise retain the
same feature set. Respective pricing
is $229, $299 and $399.
