Costa Mesa, Calif. — Xpal has begun shipping what it’s calling the first nearfield communication (NFC)-enabled battery case for the BlackBerry Z10.
The Z10 PowerSkin, which was first announced during the Mobile World Congress show last month, has a one-piece silicon construction with a 1,500 mAH rechargeable battery. The case weighs about 3 ounces and can extend the Z10’s power up to 60 percent, or seven hours of talk time.
Other features include an on/off switch, LED indicator light strip and a $79.99 price tag.
