New Orleans — Azione Unlimited, the education/buying group for custom retailers and integrators, began its three-day fall conference here yesterday with more than 125 dealers and vendors in tow.
The first day of the event, held at the Westin New Orleans Canal Place, featured four member presentations about service and preventive maintenance agreements. Speakers included Definitive Electronics’ Don Dixon, who turned a struggling service department into a million-dollar profit center; Zach Campbell of Forefront Innovation, whose After Care program provides peace of mind and additional profits; Encore AV’s Will Pisula, who offered viable pricing models for service agreements; and Azione president Richard Glikes, who addressed maintenance plan implementation.
Glikes also delivered a 45-minute presentation on the “Art of Negotiating,” while Azione ad agency 23K Studios detailed a comprehensive, year-round marketing campaign including logo development, email marketing, landing pages, direct mail and website construction that’s available to dealers for $3,995.
The conference concludes tomorrow.
