Toshiba introduced last month the Satellite P35 Series, its first 100GB hard-drive-equipped notebook computer, along with two other lines geared toward families and students.

Joining the P35s are the M35X-S149 and the A75 Series.

The two-unit P35 Series features the P35-S629 and the P35-S609. The former, suggested retail price $2,099, has the 100GB hard drive, an Intel Pentium 4 448 processor running at 3.33GHz, 512MB of RAM and a 17-inch LCD. It is Wi-Fi enabled and has an S-Video out and a DVD SuperMulti drive. The latter model has a slightly slower Pentium 4 538 processor and an 80GB hard drive for $1,799.

The M35X-S149, $1,099 suggested retail price, uses a Celeron M processor 340, running at 1.5GHz. Other features include 256MB of RAM, DVD-CD-RW combo drive, 60GB hard drive and a 400MHz front side bus.

All models run Microsoft's Windows XP Home and are now available.
