OmniMount Intros Mobile Cart
PHOENIX — OmniMount recently introduced
the ProCFCart, a mobile cart designed for portable
large displays. It features the compnay’s
Ergotron Constant Force technology built in for
20 inches of light-touch height adjustment. The
height-adjust feature also allows displays to be
ideally positioned for use in classrooms, convention
centers or boardrooms.
It can fit large panels from 50 to 65 inches
with weight capacities of 50 to 90 pounds.
Users can also alternate between portrait and
landscape orientation and tilt the display -15
degrees to +5 degrees.
It’s currently shipping for $799.
Skullcandy Adds Eye Candy
PARK CITY, UTAH — Skullcandy has named
the first member of its crew of supermodel ambassadors:
Kate Upton,
the cover girl of the 2012
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit
issue.
The supermodel ambassadors
will be part
of a multi-year deal that
Skullcandy will use for
advertising, social media
and content creation, including
a short film.
The rest of the crew will
be announced next month when Skullcandy is
due to unveil new products.
Cardo Launches Bluetooth
Headset For Bikes
PITTSBURGH — Cardo Systems launched its
BK-1 Bluetooth headset for bicycle helmets.
The headset uses a noise-canceling microphone
and hovering speakers that avoid ear
contact to deliver voice-activated, two-way or
three-way bike-to-bike communication. Users
can also connect to GPS systems for in-ear
navigation. Nearly all helmets are supported,
according to the company.
The BK-1 provides up to seven hours of talk
time on a rechargeable battery that requires
only four hours to fully charge, Cardo said. It
also has a USB port to accommodate operating
software upgrades, and comes with a travel
charger.
Pricing wasn’t given.
Draper Debuts Mobile Tool Kit
SPICELAND, IND. — Draper introduced a mobile
tool kit for smartphone users that includes
includes searchable document libraries for
Draper projection screens, projector lifts and
window shades.
It works on all smartphones, according to the
company. It can be found at
www.draperinc.com/drapermobile.
Draper also has assembly map tools for
smartphones for its StageScreen and Focal-
Point projection screens.
