Daytona Beach, Florida – Three installers from the USA will win an expenses paid trip to the China International Auto Products Expo (CIAPE) in Shanghai this coming September, to participate in the IASCA International 72 Hour Installation Challenge competition.
Installer teams from each IASCA Affiliated country have been invited to participate in the event, making it a truly worldwide competition.
The competition teams will consist of three installers from each IASCA Affiliated country. Each team will be supplied with the same vehicle and equipment and will have 72 hours to build a system in the vehicle using the equipment supplied. The completed systems will then be evaluated using IASCA Worldwide SQC (Sound Quality Challenge) and IQC (Installation Quality Challenge) rules to determine the winner.
“The IASCA International 72 Hour Installation Challenge is similar to the Installer Challenge competitions held here in the USA a few years ago” said Moe Sabourin, IASCA Director of Worldwide Operations “The goal is to spotlight the skill and techniques of today’s installers. They’re the true professionals of our industry today; with automotive technology moving forward so fast, these guys and gals are the ones keeping up with the changes and staying on top of what needs to be done to incorporate aftermarket equipment in today’s vehicles.”
IASCA Worldwide and IASCA China, in conjunction with the Chinese Government and the China Auto Modification Accessories Association (CAMAA) are hosting the IASCA International 72 Hour Installation Challenge competition at the CIAPE show in Shanghai, China in September 2015.
“The U.S. team will be chosen from the participants in the INSTALLER 5K contest at this year’s in.car.EXPO Trade Show, being held in conjunction with the 29th Annual Spring Break Nationals event in March.” Sabourin continued to say “Not only do they have a chance to win $5,000 for the quality of their work, they could also win an expense paid trip to China to participate in the IASCA International 72 Hour Installation Challenge!”.
