CEDIA Expo 2024, Denver, CO  (August 26, 2024)  — Origin Acoustics recognizes Marc Fisher as one of the few elite triathletes from around the world to be selected to represent the IRONMAN Foundation TEAM and compete in the 2024 IRONMAN XC World Championship, which will take place in Kona, Hawaii, on October 26, 2024.

Each year, over 2,000 of the world’s best triathletes travel to Kona, Hawaii, to see if they have what it takes to become the ultimate Ironman. The competition starts with a 2.4-mile swim, the next is a 112-mile bike ride, and ends with a 26.2-mile full marathon.

The VinFast IRONMAN World Championship will host the very best male professional triathletes from around the world. Their 140.6-mile/226km journey will present the ultimate test of body, mind and spirit. Through 40+ years of stellar athletic prowess, emotional performances and inspiring achievements, the IRONMAN World Championship has etched a reputation as the pinnacle of the triathlon landscape and an iconic global sporting event. In 2024, the men return to the KONA^® race to show the world that “Anything is Possible!”

By no means is this competition is without a cause.  Each athlete involved in the Ironman Foundation competing raises money to support the IRONMAN Foundation’s Community Fund which directly benefits the race communities where events are held by providing charitable support to a variety of local nonprofit organizations.

At Marc Fisher’s last race, the IMF foundation purchased, built and delivered over 100 bikes to the Lake Placid Central School District. This IM Foundation is consistently delivering an instrumental change in every community it participates in.
