The Philips 6000 Series includes three models, with screen sizes ranging from 50-inch class to 65-inch class, all with premium features and technologies that deliver an outstanding home entertainment experience.

HDR (High Dynamic Range)
HDR provides a striking improvement in brightness, contrast and color performance. All 2017 Philips 4K UHD TVs include generic HDR (HDR10).
Dolby Vision
Leveraging the HDR technology that powers Dolby’s most advanced cinemas around the world, Dolby Vision transforms the TV experience in the home by delivering greater brightness and contrast, as well as a fuller palette of rich colors. Dolby’s deep expertise in bringing advanced technologies from the cinema to the home has led to distinct features that enable Dolby Vision to deliver extraordinary viewing experiences to home consumers. Dolby Vision is the preferred HDR mastering workflow for major studios and a growing number of creatives, so consumers will have access to more of what they want to watch in HDR, including a robust portfolio of movies and episodic content. More than 100 studio titles, as well as more than 125 hours of original content, is available in Dolby Vision across leading OTT providers and on Ultra HD Blu-ray disc globally.
BrightPro
Philips BrightPro is the company’s backlight technology that boosts brighter areas of the image by up to twice as much as a regular LED backlight. BrightPro is offered in 2017 Philips 5000 and 6000 series models.
NetTV
The Philips NetTV platform provides direct access to the most popular apps, including Netflix, YouTube, Vudu and Pandora. It also includes Hotlist and Xumo app portals that provide free access to over 100 channels of digital content from such networks as Bloomberg, CBS News, TIME, Inc., Condé Nast Entertainment, BuzzFeed, PopSugar, and more.
Other features found in all six sets include macro dimming, 120 Perfect Motion Rate, 4K upscaling, wireless screencasting, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11ac with MIMO antennas, USB multimedia, HDMI 2.0a with HDCP 2.2, HEVC and VP9 hardware decoders and Sonic Emotion Premium sound.
