San Francisco – April 16, 2015 – Myfox, the European leader in smart home security solutions, today announced it has appointed Scott Ledterman as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice-President Sales and Marketing. Ledterman will serve as a member of the Myfox Executive Committee where he will focus on driving global growth while developing the company’s U.S. operations, commercial footprint, and sales in North America. He will report directly to Jean-Marc Prunet, the company’s President and CEO.

A dynamic leader with more than 20 years of experience, Ledterman showcases an impressive track record of successfully launching new technologies and businesses in the consumer electronics industry.

Previously, Ledterman served as Vice-President and GM Consumer Sales at Acer America. Under his leadership, Acer saw a 51 percent increase in ASP and market achievements, including the #1 leader of Chromebooks. Prior to Acer, he was Director of Product Marketing at Samsung Electronics America where he launched the U.S. Mobile Computing business and the world’s first Chromebook with Google. Ledterman also spent 16 years at Sony Electronics where he held a variety of management positions while running the U.S. VAIO PC sales operations.
Most recently, Ledterman was Executive Vice-President of Sales and Business Development at Zeepro Inc., a startup 3D-printing company.
