The new partnership entitles AVAD as the first national partner of ABB Welcome™ throughout the U.S.A.
ABB Welcome, available end of April from AVAD, provides integrators with modern and elegant door entry systems for home security, surveillance, and intercom. The future of home monitoring and security, ABB Welcome, brings impressive style with innovative technology in their modular Outdoor Station design, along with various Indoor Station options. The ABB Outdoor Station starts as a simple two-way intercom system with a built-in invisible speaker design. With the addition of a camera module, it adds a full 1080p camera with night vision, boasting infrared LED light sensors that switch over from day to night mode allowing residents to monitor the camera easily – even in the dark. The aluminum and stainless steel enclosure comes in multiple sizes, and can be surface or flush mounted.
Turning indoors, the ABB Indoor Station comes in a variety of types and sizes, from a basic audio handset to a full 7” color display panel, with intuitive touch control that communicates with the Outdoor Stations to provide full system control. The sophisticated design of the Indoor Stations allows them to blend with any décor, while providing users with the ability to save images and set customized passwords for access control. ABB Welcome can also be accessed by users anywhere, at any time, with the ABB Welcome app available on all smartphones.
