Aurora Multimedia to Highlight Classroom A/V Products at Campus Technology 2015

MORGANVILLE, N.J. — July 21, 2015 — Aurora Multimedia, a leading innovator and global provider of state-of-the-art IP control systems and HD video distribution, today announced that it will exhibit a sampling of products at Campus Technology 2015 July 27-30 in Boston. Aurora’s lineup will include its One Room — One Cable(TM) products, which enable simplified control and A/V distribution within the classroom.

“Today’s students are used to multimedia being integrated into every aspect of their lives, and the classroom is no different. Our One Room — One Cable line and associated products make it easier for schools and instructors to incorporate more technology into the curriculum without needing technical expertise,” said Paul Harris, CEO of Aurora Multimedia. “Visitors to our booth at Campus Technology will get a firsthand look at our latest innovations in A/V technology for the classroom that’s simple to install and affordable for any budget.”

Aurora’s product display will feature the company’s three single-package One Room — One Cable kits, which make the process of installing A/V systems incredibly simple by requiring only a single Cat cable between switchers and displays. The kits enable more efficient out-of-box setups for today’s classrooms, conference rooms, and other single-room A/V applications via Web-based control, HD video distribution, IR, and RS-232 connectivity.

Also on display will be the new DXP-62 high-end, low-cost scaler. Leveraging One Room — One Cable features, the unit’s HDBaseT output passes PoH power to the awaiting HDBaseT receiver as well as RS-232 and IR control for the display. The unit is available in packages with any of Aurora’s award-winning DXE-CAT receivers, allowing the customer to configure with onboard amplification, relay control, and background/paging integration for a complete single-cable solution.

Finally, visitors to Aurora’s booth will see the Aurora VTUNE Pro 4K tuner, the industry’s first 4K2K RF tuner/IPTV all-in-one solution. Designed for any integrated system requiring IPTV, ATSC, QAM, NTSC, or PAL, the tuner is capable of decoding MPEG-2, MPEG-4, VC-1, H.264, and H.265 with resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz via both RF and LAN. In addition, the device is equipped with an onboard 4K scaler for viewing 1080p HD content on 4K displays.

Aurora will demonstrate these products and others in Booth 307. More information on Aurora Multimedia’s full line of products is available at www.auroramultimedia.com.
