Three members of the ProSource buying group have moved into the bigger leagues.
By approval of its board, the A/V specialty and custom install cooperative has reassigned the trio from its Power CI tier to its Pro level of membership, reflecting “their growth and reputation within the vendor community,” ProSource said.
Another requirement: Pro-level members must pull in a minimum of $10 million in annual sales.
“I am excited to be joining the Pro level of membership within ProSource and look forward to the relationships we will build with this outstanding group of retailers,” said Eric Winston, president of Sound Distributors.
Winston joins Acoustic Sound Design and HiDEF Lifestyle in making the move.
Each is expected to be on hand when the $4.5 billion buying group gathers for its annual Spring Meeting at the Marriott Laguna Cliffs in Dana Point, Calif., May 9-13, where the agenda will focus on best practice education, collaboration, and business strategies.
