ISLANDIA, N.Y. — SEAL Solutions, a
New York area custom-installer-to-thestars
that was founded by a former U.S.
Navy SEAL, opened its first showroom
here this month.
A grand-opening event sponsored
by Lutron was held at the home-theater
showroom, with representatives from
Crestron, Paradigm, Runco and Stewart
Filmscreen in attendance.
SEAL Solutions principal Chris
Wyllie, a graduate of the Navy’s Advanced
Electronics School who served
in the Persian Gulf, started the company
out off his home to provide customers
with “state-of-the-art technology …
so they can have more control over their
environment, making their lives easier,
and giving them more time and energy
to enjoy life.”
SEAL’s client roster includes such
luminaries as Liam Neeson, Liev
Schreiber, Naomi Watts, Kiefer Sutherland,
Julianna Margulies and Maxwell,
and last year the company received CEDIA’s
prestigious Electronic Systems
Contractor (ESC) award.
The grand-opening event featured a
“sneak preview” of the new TK Living
line of cost-effective architectural detailing
products, acoustical fabrics, seating,
lighting, and accessories by home-theater
designer Theo Kalomirakis.
“Traditional,” one of three distinct
home-theater designs that were created
exclusively for SEAL by Kalomirakis,
was also showcased. Components include
Runco’s Q-750i projector, Stewart
Filmscreen’s 120-inch Cine-V curved
screen, Oppo Digital’s BDP-83 Bluray
Disc player, Denon’s AVR-4810CI
A/V receiver, a Crestron control system,
Paradigm Reference loudspeakers
and subwoofers, TM cables and
interconnects from Planet Waves, PS
Audio’s PowerPlay 9000 power conditioner,
Apple TV, TiVo DVRs, Pakedge
routers and switches, and TK Living
architectural detailing products and
fabrics.

CEDIA-certified as a Level One installer.
