Fort Worth, Texas — ProSource, the industry’s largest A/V specialty and integration buying organization, has added an integration services firm to its vendor roster.
One Firefly, based in Hollywood, Fla., will now provide its system design, Crestron programming and CE marketing services to ProSource’s 500-plus members.
The addition will allow members to easily outsource those services at rates that are “much more favorable” than hiring outside contractors, the buying group said.
“One Firefly is a different sort of vendor partner for us in that it doesn’t sell product, but offers services that every integrator needs at one point or another,” said Andy Orozco, ProSource’s business development director.
The service provider joins a recent spate of new vendor partners within the past few months that include Origin Acoustics, Stewart Filmscreen, Ihiji, D-Tools, Leon Speakers and Alarm.com. ProSource said the additions have solidified its line card, created new business opportunities and are helping members make their operations more efficient.
ProSource, led by industry veteran Dave Workman, is the specialty A/V and custom-integration division of the BrandSource buying group, and generates more the $4.5 billion in annual retail revenue.
