Paul’s TV Online Liquidation Set For Thursday

An online-only auction will be held this Thursday (Nov. 5) for the remaining inventory and office assets of Paul’s TV.

The Los Angeles-area A/V and majap dealer shut its doors last month more than half a century after its founding by Paul “King of the Big TV” Goldenberg, who died in August.

Up for grabs are TVs, audio systems, majaps and store furnishings and computer equipment. Bidding is already underway at SoldTiger.com, the auction site of Tiger Capital Group’s remarketing services division, and both consumers and trade buyers are welcome to participate.

SoCal residents can also preview the merchandise by appointment this Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Paul’s former La Habra store and at the company’s Santa Ana corporate offices.

Available merchandise includes:

*new-in-box, open-box and floor-model 4K UHD and HD TVs (curved and flat screen) by LG, Sharp and other brands;

*surround-sound systems, sound bars, in-ceiling speakers and other audio components by Bose, Yamaha, Harmon/Kardon, Sharp and other brands;

*GE refrigerators, and ranges, laundry pairs, dishwashers and microwave ovens by other leading vendors;

*accessories including entertainment stands, wall mounts, HDMI cables, connectors, adapters, and appliance hook- ups, vents and hoses, and;

*store equipment including over 100 Dell Vostro PCs and PowerEdge T110 servers; thermal label printers; over 50 printers and fax machines; credit card terminals; executive desk sets; conference room and reception furniture; file cabinets; and desk chairs.

“This sale represents a tremendous buying opportunity for consumers, retailers, wholesalers and small businesses of all types, just in time for the holiday season,” said Jeff Tanenbaum, Tiger remarketing services president. “There’s something for everyone in this auction, whether you’re a consumer looking for a television or refrigerator for personal use, a Sonos speaker as a holiday gift, or you’re a retailer seeking promotional sale items.”

The live online auction begins Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Pacific.
