Conn’s extended its Carolina toehold today with the formal opening of its third HomePlus store in The Palmetto State.
The new 38,700-square-foot showroom is located in Spartanburg, S.C., and joins existing locations in Florence and Greenville.
The furniture, bedding, appliance and CE chain said the new addition is part of a “robust national growth strategy” that will result in nearly 20 new stores during its current fiscal year (February 2015 through February 2016).
Over the past two years the Texas-based retailer has extended its reach from Colorado to the Atlantic Coast, but is particularly fond of the Carolinas, where it now operates three HomePlus stores each in the North and South states.
Plans call for at least another four Tar Heel locations this year. Conn’s currently operates more than 90 stores across 12 states, and plans to open its 100th store later this year.
