No. 3 warehouse club BJ’s has launched a free tech-support service for members called Tech Advisors.
The program, outsourced to third-party service provider Alorica, offers call center-based support before and after CE purchases.
Customers can call a toll-free number seven days a week to receive assistance with researching, purchasing, installing and trouble-shooting tech products.
The service covers TVs, home theater, audio, computers, tablets, cameras and other devices, and is available for the life of the product.
“As technology grows more and more complex, shoppers are looking for help in choosing and installing their electronics,” said Bari Harlam, marketing and membership executive VP. “BJ’s Tech Advisors provides our members with expert help both before and after their purchases, and it’s just a simple phone call away.”
The regional warehouse club, ranked 24th in TWICE’s 2016 Top 100 report, was taken private in 2011 by Leonard Green & Partners, a retail investment group, and maintains 213 locations throughout the East.
