OAKDALE, MINN. — TDK Life on Record introduced two pairs of headphones last week, one with Kleer wireless technology.
The new WR700 wireless headphones ($249 suggested retail) feature Kleer lossless, wireless audio technology that reportedly delivers uncompressed digital audio in 16-bit, 44KHzdiital audio at CD quality. Other features include dynamic channel selection, meant to eliminate signal “drops,” and Kleer’s Listen In technology, which lets users share their music with up to four wireless headphones listening simultaneously to the same audio source. The wireless transmitter is said to be compatible with all audio devices using a 3.5mm headphone port.
Thirty to 40 hours of listening time on four AAA batteries can be achieved, the company said.
The second model introduced by TDK Life on Record, the EB900 inear headphones ($89.99), come with Comply foam tips, 8.5mm high-performance micro-drivers, a braided cabled to eliminate tangles, and three sizes of silicon tips.
“Audio enthusiasts worldwide have long recognized the TDK brand as a leader in sound fidelity,” said Stephanie Juaire, global brand director for TDK Life on Record, in a statement. “Drawing on our brand’s long audio heritage, our newest TDK Life on Record headphones deliver not only superior sound but also an updated, contemporary design.”
Both models are available.
