SwitchEasy is stressing the aesthetics of phone protection with a new see-through glass back protective case specifically designed for the Jet Black iPhone 7.
SwitchEasy’s Glass is a lock-release screw-less case featuring 7H hardness glass that the company called “touchless protection.” Only 13 percent of the case comes in contact with the iPhone’s surface, according to the company, thanks to a 1mm gap between the case and the phone. The lock-release design allows the phone to be released from the case with the slide of a button.
The glass finish features 90 percent optical transparency and the rigid case structure is composed of aluminum and glass and features a patent-pending wireless signal pass-through design that is said to outperform metal cases for wireless data performance.
The case was launched on Indiegogo in three different colors that include Stealth Black, Gold and Rose Gold for $39.99. It will ship to backers at the end of November.
