SurgeX (AMETEK Electronic Systems Protection) is bringing their new line of Security Plus II Large Format Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS) to CEDIA Expo 2019, September 10 – 14.

“SurgeX is known for reliability and comprehensive protection that integrators trust to ensure that projects run smoothly without risk of damage from power issues, whether from outages or unclean generator power,” said Rick Komendera, Sales Manager for SurgeX in a statement. “The Security Plus II UPS line was created with features in mind that would enhance the protection, energy usage, and the maintenance experience to suit the needs of AV projects of all types and sizes.”

The Security Plus II UPSs are designed for ultra-quiet operation and feature an easy-view LED display panel for easy configuration. Hot-swappable batteries allow the unit to stay online during maintenance

In the event of an outage, the Security Plus II UPSs can power systems until alternate power is engaged to allow for safe shutdown, and prevent lockup. Additionally, the Security Plus II line is equipped with an isolation transformer and uses an energy saving ECO mode with double-conversion technology to provide clean, continuous, and reliable power to AV systems.

The SurgeX Security Plus II Large Format UPS line is available in models ranging from 10,000 volt-amps (10kVA) to 20,000 volt-amps (20kVa), and is now available to order. It will be on display at CEDIA Expo in Denver, CO on September 10 – 14, 2019 in the SurgeX booth #3643.

AMETEK Electronic Systems Protection has helped customers mitigate, manage, and prevent power quality issues that negatively affect their business for over 30 years with the ESP and SurgeX brands.
