Skullcandy Introduces Mix Master Mike Headphones

PARK CITY, UTAH —

Skullcandy took
the wraps off the Mix Master DJ headphones
earlier this month. Said to be
the result of 18 months of collaboration,
the headphones get their moniker from
Beastie Boys’ DJ Mix Master Mike.

Features include 50mm drivers, ambidextrous
audio inputs, one-touch mute,
and dual channel cue control when a
single ear cup articulates, and extra
cable with in-line microphone and music
control.

Frequency response is listed at 20Hz
to 20kHz, with an impedance of 100
ohms. The headphones have a threepiece
folding design that’s made of
ABS, polycarbonate, stainless steel
and aluminum, and they come with softtouch
ear pads.

A case is included.

They’re currently available on Skullcandy’s
website for $249. A spokeswoman
for the company said they will
be available at retailers in January.
