There’s a new way to bring Bluetooth to the beach.
SDI Technologies introduced Aquio this week, the company’s newest audio brand employing iHome audio technology. The debut product is a stainless-steel water bottle with a detachable Bluetooth speaker.
Offered in four colors, the 16-ounce Aquio bottle can keep drinks cold for 24 hours or hot for 14. The sand-resistant, fabric-wrapped 5-watt speaker, which twists on or off the bottom of the bottle, is IP67-rated waterproof and features a talk/end speakerphone button and audio caller ID. It employs iHome audio technologies, another SDI brand.
The Aquio is slated to ship in July for a $69.99 suggested retail.
