Samsung Teams With Calm To Bring Mindfulness To Galaxy Users

Now available through Samsung Health

Samsung announced it has partnered with Calm, the developer of a sleep and meditation app.

Consumers will now be able to access the service by tapping the “Mindfulness” icon in Samsung Health, the company’s health and wellness platform. There they can sync or create a Calm account, unlocking access to personalized features intended to reduce stress and increase relaxation and focus.

Calm has been downloaded over 40 million times, according to Samsung, which noted that Samsung Health features more than 60 million monthly active users. The partnership reinforces Samsung’s commitment to working with health and wellness organizations to improve users’ entire wellbeing – mentally and physically, said the company.

It’s currently available with Samsung smartphones running Android Pie OS, as well as Galaxy Watch Active users.
