The Spectrum AcousticPro UHD is a motorized projection screen with Ultra High Definition Acoustically Transparent (UHD-AT) capabilities, a first for the retail customer. Sound from the wall speakers breathe through the screen material with only a 2.36 decibel average insertion like a commercial theater screen. Ultra high-def 1080p to 4K imaging is presented moiré-free without visual artifacts. It also retracts into its casing when not in use for aesthetic purposes. As an added safety measure, the material’s flame-retardant properties are compliant with NFPA 701 standards. The screen drops and rises with the aid of a silent and power-saving synchronous motor and comes in the standard 100- to 120-inch home theater sizes. The control package includes an infrared receiver with remote and a detachable three-way wall switch. It also has a 5-12 volt trigger that can coordinate the screen’s drop and rise with the projector’s power cycle. Optional features include wireless RF 12v trigger and in-ceiling trim kit.
