Panasonic took the wraps off its latest rugged point-and-shoot, the Lumix TS7.
Not only is the airtight TS7 waterproof to 102 feet, but it’s also freeze-proof to 14 degrees F, drop-proof to 6.6 feet, and pressure resistant to 220lbf, according to Panasonic. Specs for the 20.4-megapixel camera include a 28mm wide-angle 4.6x optical zoom lens, a 0.2-in, 1,170K-dot-equivalent live view finder, and a 3-inch rear LCD monitor with a nearly 100 percent field of view.
It can record QFHD 4K video in 3,840 by 2,160 at 30p/24p, with the ability to save 8-megapixel stills from 30 fps video. Panasonic’s Post Focus feature lets users modify focus after capturing the image.

Suggested retail is $449. The TS7 is slated to ship this summer in a choice of three colors: blue, orange or black.
