Optoma Ups Its Battery Performance With NuForce BE6i Bluetooth Headphones

Optoma has given its wireless headphones an upgrade.

An updated version of the company’s BE6 model, the NuForce BE6i Bluetooth headphones have improved sound quality, a longer battery life (eight hours vs. the previous six), and newly designed 10mm drivers. They also have an IPX5 water-resistance rating that make them sweat-proof, whereas the previous model was just splash-proof and lacked an IP rating.

Like the previous model, the BE6i’s driver enclosures are completely constructed with aluminum and feature AptX and AAC support.

The BE6i are currently available at a $129 suggested retail. They come with six sets of silicone ear tips, a pair of Comply foam tips, a carrying pouch, cable clip and neck clip.

Optoma, which also manufactures home-theater projectors, acquired NuForce in 2014.
