Samsung today took convergence in a new direction with the introduction of the Cybermax 35 MP3 digital camera.
The Cybermax not only takes 640×480 digital images, but also can play back MP3 music downloaded from the Internet. The camera, suggested retail price $289, comes with a 2MB CompactFlash card and features an optical viewfinder and dual USB/serial port interface. It comes with the cabled needed to turn it into a PC camera for video conferencing. Shipping information was not immediately available
Samsung will also unveil four new digital cameras in its Digimax line at the PMA show starting today. Details on these cameras have not been released.
