New York – Monster introduced a new line of Nick Cannon-branded headphones, and released product details about its recently announced Monster Digital line of memory cards.
Monster has teamed up with actor Nick Cannon for its NCredible line of on-ear and in-ear headphones. Two models currently make up the youth-targeted line: the on-ear NTune ($149) and in-ear Nergy ($69.95), both available in January.
Features of the NTunes include Monster’s signature tangle-free cable and a right-angle connector.
The Nergy ear buds are designed to snap together magnetically to create a necklace when not being used, Monster said.
Both models have the NCredible medallion, as well Monster’s ControlTalk Universal hands-free controls.
For its entry into memory cards, Monster plans to use durability as the feature that will set it apart from competitors. The SD and MicroSD cards are designed to be waterproof up to 2.6 meters for 30 minutes, as well as impact- and extreme-temperature-resistant. Products also offer high magnetic resistance to prevent damage or erasure from both household devices and security scanners, Monster said.
