Monster Poker Tournament To Be Televised On Fox Sports

Los Angeles — Monster released details about its televised poker tournament, scheduled to be held Sept. 21 at the conclusion of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Borgata Poker Open.

Los Angeles — Monster released details about its televised poker tournament, scheduled to be held Sept. 21 at the conclusion of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Borgata Poker Open.

The WPT Monster Invitational, which was first previewed during Monster’s International CES press conference in January, will feature six poker pros: two-time WPT champion Antonio Esfandiari, three-time bracelet winner Vanessa Selbst, Poker Hall of Famer and WPT Champions Club member Scotty Nguyen, WPT champion David Williams, bracelet winner and poker personality Phil Laak, and “Raw Deal” host and WPT champion Tony Dunst.

The event will be held at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and will be televised on the Fox Sports Network in early 2015. Prizes include a Hublot King Power Unico watch, Monster 24K headphones, and seats into the WPT World Championship, WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic, and WPT L.A. Poker Classic.
