SANTA ANA, CALIF. –
V7 unveiled a line of headphones last week, including models designed for office use.
V7 is distributor Ingram Micro’s private brand. Rainer Kozlik, VP and and general manager of Ingram Micro’s global V7 private label group, said, “V7 is launching this suite of headphones to provide customers a more price sensitive, customized experience in matching their personal style with performance and comfort.”
Five models make up the line. There is a USB digital headset with a noisecanceling, omni-directional mic, meant for use with video and voice chatting. The mice can be folded when not in use. The adjustable headband features inline controls for volume adjustment, and it has an extra-long 1.8-meter cable.
The V7 Deluxe headphones with volume control have 40mm dynamic drivers and an adjustable headband with in-line volume control.
The V7 Lightweight stereo headphones boast soft foam ear cups, the company said, while the Lightweight stereo headset adds on an omni-directional microphone that can be folded.
Finally, the V7 noise-isolating stereo ear buds feature soft ear cushions and cabling and joints meant to withstand daily use.
