
Fremont, Calif. – Envision Peripherals, a North American subsidiary of TPV, has released a Philips-branded 28-inch 4K Ultra HD LCD monitor.
The Philips 288P6LJEB ($799 suggested retail) features resolution of 3,840 by 2,160 pixels at 60hz and is positioned for viewing games, high-res images and graphics in up to four times the resolution of FullHD 1080p displays.
Envision said the display is now on sale at Amazon.com for $599.
The Philips UltraClear 4K UHD display has a color depth of 1.07 billion colors, providing detailed information for CAD-CAM solutions.
The monitor has a 16:9 aspect ratio screen, a 1ms response time, built-in stereo speakers, and MHL to assist with connectivity of mobile devices.
Connections include: HDMI, DisplayPort, Dual-link DVI, VGA SmartConnect and USB 3.0 ports.
MultiView functionality enables active dual connect and view so that users can work with multiple devices like PC and laptop side-by-side simultaneously.
A SmartErgoBase allows the monitor to be lowered down to desk level for a comfortable viewing angle, and provides further adjustments for swivel, tilt and rotation angle.
