Emerson Quiet Kool recently introduced its first lightweight outdoor 1000 BTU portable air conditioner. The portable AC unit has two fan speeds and is designed to cool up to 100 sq ft, making it optimal for camping grounds, job sites, mini offices or wherever cooling is needed in a tight space.
“As soon as the country lifts the lockdown, consumers will start buying outdoor gear to enhance their outdoor activities after months of getting stuck at home,” said Emerson marketing and sales director Jack Zheng in a statement.
In addition to keeping consumers cool and comfortable, the unit also features a USB port for phone and mobile device charging, a 250 Lumens LED light for night use, and uses Bluetooth to link your phone to its built-in speaker. It can also be used as just a fan when all you need is a breeze.
The Emerson Quiet Kool Outdoor Portable Air Conditioner will be distributed exclusively by Almo Corp, North America’s largest distributor of appliances and electronics and will retail at $499 for the first year. The unit will be sold on Amazon.com, at Home Depot, Best Buy and other major ecommerce sites beginning this May, just in time for summer season.
