Simi Valley, Calif. — Crimestopper has begun shipping eight new SafetyPlus OEM-style rearview mirror/monitors, with select models featuring GPS navigation, dash cam/DVR, Bluetooth and integration with factory OnStar systems.

Prices on the new models range from a suggested $279 to $599.

Among the new models, the new SafetyPlus SV-9165 taps the top at a suggested $599. It offers built-in navigation with voice guidance and stored POI, 4.3-inch digital color LCD screen, and built in Wi-Fi to connect to a smartphone to access Google maps, email and the like. It also features two video inputs for backup cameras, updatable maps via SD card (32GB maximum) or USB, MP3/MP4 music/video playback, and Bluetooth hands-free with built-in microphone. The screen is not visible when not in use, and the screen automatically adjusts screen brightness.

At $549, SV-9160.N.IlI features onboard navigation system with voice guidance and stored POI, 4.3-inch color LCD screen, Windows CE 6.0 for interface control, two video inputs, one audio input, Bluetooth hands-free with built-in microphone, MP3/MP4 music and video playback, and updatable maps via 8GB maximum SD card. The screen automatically adjusts screen brightness with ambient light.

At $369, the SV-9159 incorporates digital video recorder with remote control, 4.3-inch color LCD screen, and 32GB SD card slot for recording. The screen is not visible when not in use.

At $349, the V-9164 is a parking-assist mirror with 4.3-inch color LCD screen, simultaneous display of sensors and camera-distance readings on the screen, LED display and audible tones for sensor-distance readings, two video inputs and four ultrasonic sensors with quick-disconnect waterproof plugs. The sensors can be painted to match the vehicle’s color. The screen is invisible when not in use.

At $379, the SV-9156.CT features 4.3-inch digital color LCD screen, built-in compass with temperature gauge, 400 by 272 display, two video inputs for backup cameras, and automatic brightness adjustment. Its screen is not visible when not in use.

The same model without temperature gauge is the SV-9156.C at $349.

 A version with Bluetooth hands-free is the $349 SV-9156.BT.

At $299, the SV-9157 manual-dimming mirror features 4.3-inch color LCD screen and two video inputs. The display is invisible when not in use.

At $279, the SV-9162 features 4.3-inch color screen and control of a vehicle’s OnStar system.

Also at $279, the SV-9163 is like the 9157 but integrates with a Hyundai vehicle’s Bluelink system.
