CES 2016: Odyssey Toys Adds Pocket Drone, Starblade Quadcopter

Odyssey Toys is showcasing two new additions to its line of high-tech toys and gadgets at CES 2016: the Pocket Drone and the Starblade Quadcopter.

The size of an iPhone, the Pocket Drone is designed to be lightweight and can easily fit into a pocket. This first generation will come with its own carry pouch and remote, and it has collapsible blades that can be tucked neatly inside the unit. When ready to fly, simply pull out the blades and the Pocket Drone can be launched into the sky within 30 seconds, the company said. The built-in HD camera captures video and pictures.

Odyssey Toys’ new Starblade, meanwhile, is a quadcopter that is almost 2 feet long and has more than 40 LEDs. Gyro technology ensures the unit can operate both indoors and outdoors with incredible stability, according to Odyssey Toys.

Pricing and availability for both products will be announced at the show.
