EPOS has achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification, marking a significant milestone for the global headset and speakerphone manufacturer as enterprise customers intensify their focus on information security.
The Copenhagen-based company announced that it has secured ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the internationally recognized benchmark for information security management systems (ISMS). The standard provides a structured framework for identifying, managing and mitigating risks tied to sensitive data through formalized policies, procedures and technology controls.
As cyber threats become more sophisticated and regulatory oversight increases, ISO 27001 certification has emerged as a key differentiator for technology vendors serving enterprise environments. For manufacturers whose products support daily business communications, independently audited security practices are increasingly viewed as essential.

“We are proud to announce a significant milestone in our pursuit of performance. ISO/IEC 27001 is more than a plaque on a wall. It is a formal, audited commitment to our partners and users of our products that their data – and the integrity of their communications – is shielded by the most rigorous information security standards in the world,” said Jesper Kock, VP of Research & Development at EPOS.
Kock positioned the certification as foundational to the company’s broader philosophy around trust and operational integrity.
“In the high-stakes arena of global enterprise, information is the ultimate asset. For the modern professional, every word spoken in meetings across an encrypted line represents the future of innovation and strategy. At EPOS, we understand that true audio excellence cannot exist without a foundation for absolute trust,” he said.
He added that ISO 27001 represents “the internationally recognized benchmark for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)” and noted that, “In an era where data breaches are increasingly sophisticated, this certification proves that EPOS employs a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information, ensuring it remains both secure and available.”
According to the company, the certification reflects efforts across several operational areas, including proactive risk management, strengthened business continuity protocols and alignment with global regulatory requirements. Achieving ISO 27001 requires a comprehensive external audit of internal processes, from intellectual property handling to third-party vendor oversight.
“By securing our internal data frameworks, we ensure that the ecosystem supporting customer devices is as robust as the audio engineering inside them. For us, security is not an afterthought; it is an essential component of our whole operation. Achieving ISO 27001 requires an exhaustive audit of our internal processes, from how we handle intellectual property to how we manage third-party vendor risks. For all our clients, this means reduced risk and increased reliability,” Kock said.
“From our innovative BrainAdapt technology to our rich trading history spanning over 115 years, ISO/IEC 27001 represents another tangible and powerful way we continue to lead the field in audio excellence. Customers can buy from us with complete confidence,” he added.
For enterprise stakeholders, the certification underscores a broader industry reality: security governance now stands alongside product performance as a core purchasing consideration.
