Washington — XM Satellite Radio will participate in judging the Nov. 17 showing of “The Apprentice,” XM said. A panel of its programming directors will vote on a winning musical artist for the show’s search for “America’s Next Music Superstar.”
The two teams of candidates on NBC’s “The Apprentice” episode are charged with finding, developing and promoting a new music artist. Three judges from XM will choose the most deserving artist, whose song will be placed into rotation on XM music channels and will also air on music specials including a behind-the-scenes look at “The Apprentice” episode on XM Live Channel 200 Nov. 18-20.
The judges for the episode are Eric Logan, XM’s programming executive VP; Lee Abrams, programming chief creative officer; and Lisa Lisa, programming director for The City and Urban Top 40 channel.
