New York – Walmart and Barnes & Noble today announced the
retailer will begin selling the Nook e-reader in select stores and online.
The Nook Wi-Fi and 3G versions will be sold in about 2,500
Walmart locations nationwide. Many of the stores will feature a Nook-branded
e-reading area where demonstrations will be available.
Pricing is $149 for the Wi-Fi model and $199 for the 3G version.
