Beaverton, Ore. — VTech’s Advanced American Telephones (AAT) subsidiary announced its first DECT-based cordless headsets under the AT&T brand license.
The TL7610 and TL7650 have a range of 500 feet and can be worn over the ear, behind the neck or over the head. They can pair with any 2008 AT&T DECT phone, including multi-line models.
AAT will also offer a remote dial-pad ($29) and a remote handset lifter ($69) accessories for placing and receiving calls away from the phone’s handset or base-station.
The TL7610, for $199, features a digital signal processor, multi-line capability, the ability to conference two headsets and an auto-off function.
It will ship this month.
For $249, the TL7650 arrives in January and builds off the 7610 by adding a five-level equalizer, LCD set-up display, a spare battery charger and a USB connection for using softphone applications.
