Irvine, Calif. — Vizio said Monday it is shipping four full high definition 1080p LCD TVs in its VO product series, including the first models to feature “Java”-colored bezel accents and a redesigned integrated stand and cabinet cosmetic treatment.
The line will consist of four models split between the 32-inch and 37-inch screen sizes.
The VOJ370F ($849 suggested retail) and VOJ320F ($649) are the first to offer what Vizio calls its décor-
colored Java bezel and stand treatments.
Vizio also released updated versions of prior VO series models with more traditional styling in the 32-inch VO32LF and 37-inch VO37LF. Both models also carry suggested retail prices of $649 and $849, respectively.
All four VO series sets include a 6,500:1 contrast ratio, 6.5ms refresh rates, a wide 178-degree viewing angle and 500 nits brightness.
The VOJ370F and VOJ320F add picture-in-picture and picture-outside-picture (PIP/POP) viewing.
All four new models also include three HDMI v1.3 inputs, two on the rear panel and a third on the HD Game port located on the side of the set.
Additional analog video inputs are provided on the rear and side panels including component video, VGA, composite and S-Video. Each model includes analog NTSC, digital ATSC, and in the clear QAM digital cable tuners.
Enhanced video performance can be easily tuned with reduced pixel noise, improved contrast and advanced color balancing and equalization.
The sets ship with a detachable base and built-in 12-watt-per channel speakers and audio system with SRS TruSurround.
