Santa Monica, Calif. — Rullingnet has started shipping its latest kid tablet, the Vinci Tab II M, which is a scaled-down version of the Vinci Tab II.
The Tabb II M drops the touchscreen size down to 5 inches, from the Tab II’s 7 inches, and shaves $30 off the price by making the suggested retail $169. Features for the Wi-Fi tablet include a Cortex A8 1.8GHz processor, 8GB of internal storage, three-hour battery life and six preloaded apps.
The device can be used in Child or Parent mode, with the latter allowing it to be used as an Android tablet, the company said. Other pre-installed content includes Google Play, Gmail, Skype, Adobe Reader and QuickOffice, as well as three e-books.
Up to four devices can be networked together, according to the company, letting users interact with each other.
